Sara Pinckard Hollingsworth, age 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 8, 2018, in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She was born September 12, 1947, in Campti, Louisiana, to Thomas Evens and Ruth Nichols Pinckard. She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Harry W. Hollingsworth; a sister, Etta Sue Pitchford; a half-brother, Benny R. Pinckard; grandson Booger Brister; and great-granddaughter Jacelynn Brock. She is survived by stepdaughters Belinda Tilley (Samuel) and Opal Brock (Robert); six sisters, Martha Smith, Mary Jo Baker (Mike), Laura Pinckard, Nancy Pinckard, Carolyn Cobb, Vera Eisterhold (Mark); three brothers, James Perry Pinckard (Darlene), David Pinckard (Priscilla), and John Pinckard (Glenda). She is also survived by grandchildren Priscilla Lott (Jeremy), James Brister (Cindy), Daniel Brister (Tasha), Jesse Brock (Jadie), Jessica Runnels (Clifford), Ashley Tilley; great-grandchildren Taylor, Ethan, Shelby, Hunter, Blaze, Jeremy, Marlee, Ava, Madden and Ryker; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Paige Courtney (John) and Jeremy Fregia (Tabitha), whom she had the privilege of raising. On Sunday, July 15, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., family and friends are invited for visitation and fellowship to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat at United Baptist Church, Campti, Louisiana. Burial will follow at United Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Natchitoches, 340 2nd Street, Natchitoches, Louisiana 71457; or the United Baptist Church Cemetery Fund,7687 Highway 9, Campti, Louisiana 71411.

I loved Mrs. Sara and enjoyed all our visits. She loved Jesus, His word, her family and friends. I know she is now healthy happy and worshiping her Father. Praying for her family and friends. I will see you again Mrs Sara. Love you

Our prayers are with each one in the family. I know it is a great loss for us still here on earth, but oh what rejoicing there is in heaven! A wonderful new saint has entered the pearly gates! Could not have had a better friend and neighbor for years. She will be missed greatly!
