To the Family: Look to GOD for strength now and always. Our sympathy is with you.....
PRAYER FOR GRIEVING FAMILIES and FRIENDS:

FATHER, thank YOU for another day. We know not what this day will bring but we know that YOU are in charge. FATHER, we know that as sure as we live we must die. Help us to live guided by YOUR word, prepare us for our date and ease the pain of our transition. YOU have all power in YOUR hands and we plead for YOUR grace and mercy. FATHER, give grace and mercy to bereaved families and friends. Heal the hurt in their hearts. Give them the strength to persevere and be their comfort in their hours of need. Turn them to YOUR light so that they may know that YOU will never leave them. Help them to live firmly planted in YOUR word. YOU are our light and salvation and we thank YOU in all things. All praise belongs to YOU. HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH, praise YOUR holy name. In the mighty name of JESUS, Amen.

Shayla was the life of the party even when there wasn't a party. Her bright and beautiful smile always made anyone feel better. Shayla was very ambitious. Whatever she set out to do was done. My girl had a giving spirit full of love and hope. I will miss our chats, the twinkle in your eyes, your infectious laugh, and your amazing hugs. I can still hear you saying, "Coach, what do you think about this?" My favorite was, "Coach let me holla at you."
Momma Cynt, Carlton, Renese, Renell, & Renard please know that I will continue to pray with and for you all. My heart weeps for you all. May God provide you with the comfort and strength you need.
I will for ever love this little girl!!!

Cynthia, I have no words to express what I’m feeling right now for you at this moment. My Daddy used to tell us that “these things are meant to be.” However, knowing that doesn’t stop the pain. I will pray to God that you will try to accept His will. And I believe, and I’m sure you know that, the Angels and Saints will be there waiting for Shayla with open arms to present her to God, the most high. May God wrap his arms around you and your family. Love you.
