Shirley Delores Williams (Boots) September 30 1928- August 7 2018. Boots passed away peacefully at the age of 89 at the LaCour House in New Roads, Louisiana. Boots enjoyed traveling the world, working crosswords, the LSU tigers and spending time with her family. Boots joined Fidelity bank at the age of 19. She was a longtime volunteer for Cancer services and an avid member of the Chapel on the campus church. Boots was the most capable and independent woman, someone who truly inspired you. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew her. A special thanks to Pointe Coupee Hospice, Gladys Wright and all who have given their hand to help care for her. She is survived by her son, Robert Williams and wife Marleny, Costa Rica; daughter Rebecca (Becki) Berthier and husband Paul, Glynn; granddaughter, Story Berthier, Baton Rouge; brother Wayne Story and wife Margaret, Virginia; nieces and nephews Peter Story and wife Pam, Texas; Wheat Teller and husband Todd, Tennessee and Amy Woodard, Virginia.
