He is preceded in death by his father, Sidney J. "Benny" Quatrevingt, Sr. He attended Plaquemine High School where he excelled at football and basketball. He took pride in being a true Louisiana sportsman and outdoorsman. His passions were squirrel & deer hunting, fishing, playing golf with his buddies and loved being outside with friends and family listening to & singing country gold. Sid was a lifelong member of Bulltail Hunting Club, and a member of the Carpenter's Union Local 1098. He was a loving father to his two girls, Paw-Paw to six grandchildren who were the center of his life and apples of his eyes, and husband. He loved hard, fought hard for what he believed in and worked hard. He followed in his daddy's footsteps and was a carpenter by trade. He was well known and respected throughout the Marine and Pile Driving industry which he participated in for more than 40 years and was a mentor to many. He started and spent 29 years of his career at Volks Constructors, and retired from the Construction industry years later. Sid was a great guy to work with . Me and others always enjoyed his hunting stories especially the squirrel hunting story we had a slight encounter with a game warden . Me and others never laughed so hard when he told that story . I never thought Covid would’ve got him . RIP Bro We will never forget you!

Words could never express how devastating losing a loved one is. Having only known Sid’s spirit through his daughter, Megan and his grandbabies, Hope and Jude, I still have no doubt his legacy will live on. Megan, I pray as you walk through this next season of your life you are able to grieve, mourn, heal, and one day celebrate the life of your father. I pray that on happy days you never feel guilty, and on sad days you never feel ashamed. Hope and Jude, I pray as you grow up you are always told of stories of your pawpaw. I pray that even though you are little and can’t fully understand what’s happening, that your spirit and hearts will have peace and continue to shine so bright during this dark time. To the rest of the family, please know you are also wrapped up in prayer. That the Lord is a safe place for weary hearts and promises to save all of your tears and bring you peace.
