Stanley Joseph Taylor, Sr., entered into eternal rest at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center on Saturday, June 9, 2018. He was a 92 year old resident of Baton Rouge, LA; and a 20 year retired United States Air Force veteran having served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Visitation at Greater New Guide B.C., 3445 Fairfields Ave., Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 9 am until service at 11 am, conducted by Rev. Isaiah Webster; interment at Louisiana National Cemetery. Survivors included his loving wife of 40 years, Mary I. Joseph Taylor; children, Clara B. Bias, Houston, TX; Stanley Larry Taylor (Shelia), New Orleans, LA; Michael Taylor Sr., Gonzales, LA; Stanley Joseph Taylor, Jr., Newark, NJ and Christin Renee Taylor, Lawrenceville, GA; daughter-in-love, Jacquelyn R. Taylor, Upper Marlboro, MD; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; parents-in-law, Lena C and Alvin Joseph, Sr., New Roads, LA; brothers-in-law, Minister Alvin P. Joseph, Jr. (Clara), Baker, LA and John R. Joseph (Tara), Baton Rouge, LA; host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends; preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Taylor and Beatrice Gould; siblings, Ruby McCree, Shirley Robinson and Leroy Taylor.
