Sue McAuley 71, a loving caring daughter, mother, sister, aunt and maw maw; passed away at her home in Denham Springs surrounded by family after a short but brave battle with cancer on January 4. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Viola Braud Bryson, three sisters and their spouses: Corky Poche (Emile), Carmen Fousse (James), JoAnna Efferson (Larry); three children and their spouses: Joseph Smith (Kelli), Myla Smith Waddill (James), and Jacques Houston (Rebecca). Also leaving two step daughters that remained a part of her life: Holly Paline and Heidi Pharis. She was a loving Maw Maw to Brianna, Anna, Audrey, Milli, Hannalee, Maggie, Chelsea and grand dog Marley. A silly Aunt Susie to numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Andrew Bryson Jr. and grandson Philip Smith, along with two nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. Due to Covid restrictions a private memorial of her life will be limited to immediate family.
