Susan Kay Hunt Snowbarger, a resident of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, passed away peacefully in her home on July 7th, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family. Kay was born in Alexandria, LA, on December 15, 1953. She was a graduate of Louisiana State University and a retired art teacher. Kay was a talented artist, seamstress, cook, and could do anything that she put her mind to. She was a devoted wife to Robert "Bobby" Snowbarger for almost 46 years and they had 5 children. Family was everything to her. She loved the beach, her cats, and being a Granny. She was known for living life to the fullest and being able to find joy in any situation. She will be dearly missed. Kay was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Catherine Hunt, stepfather Henry "Dick" Roberts, and her brother Jeff Hunt. She is survived by her stepmother Winnie Roberts, her brother Tom Hunt and his wife Jane, her sister Sandra Hunt Curtner. She leaves behind her husband Robert "Bobby" Snowbarger, son Robert "Robby" Snowbarger and wife Amanda, son Joshua Snowbarger and wife Jessica, son Matthew Snowbarger, son Adam Snowbarger and wife Melissa, daughter Kristen Mauldin and husband Zack, and grandchildren Kaden, Charlotte, Tyler, Jude, Jacob, Isaac, Ellison, Meredith, Abram, and Ali. Visitation will be at Seale Funeral home in Central, LA from 4:30PM-8:00PM on July 11, 2018. Graveside Funeral will be held at 10:30AM on July 12, 2018, at the Town of Woodworth Cemetery, in Woodworth, LA. Please share your condolences at
