Good old Bailey genes! Sylvia Bailey Eppinett passed away on February 15, 2021 at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice at the golden age of 95. She was born February 9, 1926 in Lutcher, LA to Willamine (Bourgeois) and Clarence Bailey, Sr. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, LA. She is survived by: her sons – Daniel Eppinett, Kenneth (Dortha) Eppinett, and Steve Eppinett; her daughter Carolyn Eppinett (James) Chandler; her sister Willamine Bailey Browning; her brothers – Clarence Bailey, Jr., and Kenneth (Vivian) Bailey; her grandchildren – Tracie Bourgeois, Blake Eppinett, Jamie Ross, J. Kelley Chandler, Jr., Wyatt Eppinett, Kristen Murfin, and Kali Eppinett; her eight great-grandchildren; and Dan's sweet Lab, Annie. She was preceded in death by: her husband Leon C. Eppinett; an infant daughter; two daughters-in-law Kathy Landry Eppinett and Joyce Gilbert Eppinett; and her brother William Bailey, Sr. A mass will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 44450 LA 429, in St. Amant, LA on February 19 at 11:00 am. There will be no graveside services due to inclement weather. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church for the Full of Grace Cafe.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Cousin Sylvia. I remember when I was a child visiting the Baileys at their home in Baton Rouge. Sylvia was a sweet and kind person. May she Rest In Peace.
