Celebration of life service for Sylvia Lee Sublett, 68 of Baton Rouge, La will be held February 13, 2016 at The Church in St. Amant, located at 13423 Hwy. 431, St. Amant, LA. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 10:00 AM till 12:00 PM with services at 11:00 at The Church in St. Amant. Ms. Sublett was born September 15, 1947 a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Thursday February 4, 2016 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet at the age of 68. Sylvia graduated from St. Anthony High in 1966. Ms. Sublett traveled for a few years before returning back to Baton Rouge where she worked as a night supervisor at Sonitrol for 19 years and then went on to work as a insurance agent for 10 years. Ms. Sublett had the honor of caring for her parents during their time of need. Ms. Sublett was preceded in death by her parents James and Lorraine Sublett, brothers William "Dee " Sublett, Benjamin Louis Sublett, James Edward Sublett, Jr. and Nephew Jerry L.Haney, Jr. She is survived by sisters Mary Pauline Sublett Albarado (Rogers) of Gonzales, LA and Jeanne Lorraine Sublett of Macon, GA. Sister-in-laws Elizabeth Sublett of Baton Rouge , LA , Donna Smith Sublett of Trussville , AL along with numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank BR General Bluebonnet, ICU-C Drs. Culotta, Flood, Allen, and Patel, nurses Laken, Candie and Luke for all they did to help Sylvia.
