Terry Jones, age 76, a resident of Baton Rouge for 48 years, passed away on October 16, 2018. He was married to the love of his life, Linda, for 53 years. Together, they had 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Terry enjoyed LSU sports, golfing, spending time with his grandchildren, and traveling with his wife. He was a family man that lived to watch them grow and succeed. Terry was in the Navy for four years where he served as a Flight Captain. He retired from Jacob's Constructors where he worked as the Vice President of Operations and Head of Labor Relations. He is survived by his wife, Linda Jones, children, Chris and Melissa Jones, Joey and Kim Jones, and Alison and Joe Teal, grandchildren, Drew Jones, Emily Jones, Joey and Lauryn Jones, Jake Jones, Sam Hargrave, Shelby Hargrave, great-grandchild, Jett Jones, sisters, Susan and Patti Dewberry. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Carroll Jones. Pallbearers will be his sons, son-in-law, and grandsons. Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA., on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Visitation will resume on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 10:00 am until services at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. If desired, please make donations to the MDAnderson, Lipo Sarcoma Research in Robert Jones's name. The family of Terry wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Hospice of Baton Rouge, Dr. Dupont, and Dr. Miletello.
