Tiny Mitchell Rousseau was born in Whitehall,La and was a Resident of Gonzales,La. He was born on December 30, 1935 and passed peacefully on February 11, 2021 at age 85. Tiny was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed time with his family, going out dancing, cooking and watching his children and grandchildren playing their sports. He graduated from Maurepas High School. He served in the U.S. Army where he was station in Korea. He was a retired member of local carpenter union 1098. He is survived by is wife of 26 years Evelyn Hebert Rousseau. Sons John (Andy)Rousseau (Lauren)and Ricky Oubre (Monica). Daughters Robin Trippi, Michelle Taylor (Lonnie)and Shantel Bourgeios (Todd). Grandchildren Shawn Rousseau, Tiffany Meades (Mike), Cody Taylor, Tessa Prine (Blaine), Dexter Rousseau, Crista Taylor, Rebecca Belcher (Jordan), Christina Armond (Dylan), Olivia Rousseau, Tracy Henry, Jontea Anslum (Brody), Daniel Oubre (Chelsea), Lance Oubre (Theresa). And great-grandchildren Cassidy, Carter, Conner, Aiden, Bowen, Madison, Kaiden, Haiden, Jace, Aria, Eli, Job, Odin, Rusty, and Cort. Sister-n-law Azalie (Lulu) Rousseau and numerous of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents John and Olivia Rousseau. His 5 brothers Roger, Roy, Redmond, Ray, and John Rousseau Jr. and a sister Della Rousseau LeSage. Visitation will be at St. Mark Catholic Church in Gonzales, La on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 10 am until funeral service at 11 am officiated by Father Rubin Reynolds. Burial to follow at Hope Haven Cemetery in Gonzales, La.
