A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Tora Jordan departed this life on January 5, 2021 at the age of 51, with her mother by her side. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Jacqueline Jordan; three children Alayjah Ra'Shaun Jordan, Tylor Jacobi Jordan, and Cameron Jordan; two sisters Yolanda Allen, Nawatha (Curtis) Simpson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday January 15, 2021 from 3-6 p.m. at 25325 La Hwy. 1, Plaquemine. Religious service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 57900 Augusta Rd., Bayou Goula, LA. Everyone in attendance will be required to wear a mask. Professional services entrusted to A. Wesley's Funeral Home of Maringouin.

I worked with Tora in the late 80's at Pizza Hut; She always had such a great smile, a wonderful sense of humor and a positive outlook. I am so sorry to hear of her passing and my prayers to her family.
