Violet Taranto Cusimano, 85, died peacefully at home on Thursday, October 29, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Violet is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles V. Cusimano, four children, Charles V Cusimano II, (Kathleen), Lisa Cusimano, Jan Simon (David), and Cathy Daigle (Keith); 18th grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Violet was the daughter of the late Emile Taranto and Lillian Najolia Taranto, and the sister of the late Mary Taranto Coulon. Known to her family as Mema, Violet will always be remembered for her great love and devotion to God and her family. A private service was held at St. Angela Merici Church on All Souls Day, November 2, 2015. Special thanks to Father Beau Charbonnet; Sarah, Ireka and the staff at St. Joseph Hospice Care.
