Virginia Cedotal Crocker, a native of Pierre Part and resident of Gonzales, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on January 5, 2019 at the age of 83. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Tarver (Dennis), and Rhonda Hamilton (Stephen); two sons, Nathan Crocker (Debra), and Jimmy Crocker (Patricia); one sister, Therese Blanchard; one brother, Paul Cedotal; eleven grandchildren, Brian, Wayne, Randy Crocker, Justin and Jake Crocker, Jeremy Tarver, Kayla Tarver Hathaway, Jillian Tarver Hatfield, Brooke Landry Bercegeay, Lauren Hamilton Mc Manus, and Kelly Hamilton; and eighteen great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Adele Cedotal; her loving husband of 50 years, Harold Land Crocker; one sister, Yvonne Cedotal Litton; three brothers, Lugger Cedotal, Lester Cedotal and Leslie Cedotal; and one great-grandchild, Braxton Paul Bercegeay. The pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family would like to give a special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at St. Jules Catholic Church from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial for 11:00 am in Belle Rose. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the church cemetery. Father Matthew Graham will be officiating.
