Angela and Donita I want you to know you're both in my prayers. Losing any loved one is so hard but for a daughter to lose their Father is especially hard. I know it was for me. Uncle Willard was such a sweet and loving man. He will be missed by many. I wish I could be at the memorial but I can't. Please know I'm with you both and all of the family in spirit. Love, Rhinda

As a kid, I was fortunate to have Willard as a role model. He was someone you were proud to call a friend. Anyone who knew him received a blessing.

The very first time I met Mr. Thames he made me feel as if we had known each other all my life. Very nice man. He was a dear friend of my father in law and helped us buy our beautiful home.I feel so fortunate that I got the chance to know him.

What a dear man! My sympathy to his sweet girls and family. I have such sweet memories of him at Amite Baptist Church. His family has always been a huge part of my christian development through the years. A loving, gracious man from a wonderful family. One of God's sons has returned and joined the heavenly band.Think of it....he and his brothers and those other "boys" from Amite Baptist up there stirring the crowd with their fun and fellowship praising the Lord!!! Can't wait!
