Billy passed away at his son's home in Plaquemine on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 12:01 a.m., he was 57 years old. Billy was a native of Port Allen and resident of Plaquemine. He was a superintendent with Control Maintenance. Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Saturday, June 16th from 9 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m., celebrated by Rev. Michael Hardy. Burial will follow in Grace Memorial Park. Billy is survived by his mother, Patricia True Chauvin; siblings, Thomas D. Chauvin Jr., Lori Chauvin Crosswell, Michael Chauvin and Adam Chauvin; four children, Curtis Chauvin, Lacy Chauvin Templet and husband Ace, Nick Chauvin and fiancée Stephanie Kanuch and William Chauvin Jr.; two step-daughters, Lexy Domingue and fiancé Craig Latiolais and Kamee Domingue; numerous grandchildren; fiancée, Chantelle Argrave. Billy was preceded in death by his father, Thomas D. Chauvin Sr; sister, Cherie Chauvin. He loved hunting, fishing, cooking, music and singing.
