William James Riffle, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on June 8, 2018. A 2003 graduate of Parkview Baptist High School, he went on to serve in the United States Air Force and attend LSU. He worked for several years in the scaffolding business, and was an avid fan of the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. He was a loving, tender-hearted, and good-natured man who was always ready with a question and to offer others a second-chance. His proudest accomplishment was his beautiful daughter, Jolie. He is survived by: his daughter, Jolie Riffle and her mother Meghan Newton ; his parents, Caroline and David Riffle; his brother, Matthew Riffle and wife Mariel and son Adrian; his uncle, Lance Newman and wife Patrice; his cousin, Julie Toler; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. A visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, on Tuesday, June 12, from 10:00 am until a service at 12:00 pm, with burial at Roselawn Memorial park to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lazarus Project at Bethany Church. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
