William Seth "Billy" Williamson passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 4, 2021 surrounded by his family at the age of 87. He was a resident and native of Plaquemine, LA. Billy was owner of Billy's Motorola, and a retired Sheriff Deputy with the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. Billy is survived by his wife of 61 years, Emma Jo Dupont Williamson; children, Lynda Carville, Lynette ""Lacy"" Williamson, William Williamson and wife Carmen, Cynthia Williamson and Billie Jo Turner and husband Jeremy; grandchildren, Kristina LeJeune, Macy Williamson, Garrison Carville, Benjamin LeJeune, Chloe Richard, Hailey Williamson, Amanda Tores, Emma Tuner and Abbie Tuner; and great-grandchild, Ellie LeJeune. Preceded in death by his parents, Seth and Louise McKay Williamson and sisters, Mary Faye Rush and Catherine Barbay. Pallbearers will be Garrison Carville, Benjamin LeJeune, Mark Lake, Peyton Gascon, Ricky Brown and William Dupont. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Dupont, and friends of the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office. Billy was a lifelong LSU fan of all things purple and gold, and even served as a game marshal in Tiger Stadium for many years.
