William U. 'June' Russell, Jr. entered into eternal rest at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet on Saturday, January 2, 2021 following a brief illness. He was a 58 year old native and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Viewing at Greater St. James Baptist Church on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 9-11 am; due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private service will be conducted by Rev. Rolon Glover; interment at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survivors include his loving wife, Cheryl Russell; devoted mother, Ida Mae Russell; sister, Ann Bradford; mother-in-law, Annie Lee Williams; nieces, nephews, godchildren, great-nieces, and great-nephews including his namesake, Brayden Russell Williams born on January 3, 2021; preceded in death by his father, William U. Russell, Sr. Arrangements entrusted to Miller & Daughter Mortuary.
