To the Perkins Family: Please accept our deepest condolences. I met him some thirty five years ago rodeoing with my step-dad Eli. Eli and Joe were his mentors who didn't mind giving advice to all the young men and women who wanted to be a cowboy/cowgirl. We have so many memories of a man who was a true cowboy. I am so grateful to have known him and truly enjoyed all the rodeos we attended together with our rodeo family. Willie will always be a part of our family which consisted of so many friends in the rodeo business. He was a great cowboy, calf roper, horseman and friend. So many whom you rodeoed with will miss you dearly. Your friends in the Lottie and surrounding areas are mourning your loss and we are praying for your family.
