Ory, Kevin Douglas A loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, he departed his Earthly life on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, at 4:11 a.m. He was 50, born on Dec. 21, 1954, and was a native and resident of Gonzales. He worked for Frito-Lay as a merchandiser. Visiting was at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Religious service at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, Gonzales, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, conducted by the Rev. Gary Belsome. Entombment in Hope Haven Mausoleum, Prairieville. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Patricia "Ann" Krol Ory; parents, Arthur Joseph John Ory Jr. and Ruby Lee Dupuy Ory, Gonzales; two sons, Joshua Paul Ory and Jacob Acreé Ory, both of Gonzales; two sisters, Libby Anita Ory Riley and husband Dean Riley Jr. and Licia Ann Ory Chaney and husband David Chaney, all of Gonzales; brother-in-law, Jimmy and wife Susie Krol, Gonzales; sister-in-law Sheila Krol, Cedar Falls, Iowa; three godchildren, Nikki Ann Chaney, Tiffany Padgett and Charles William Riley; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, John Paul Ory; paternal grandparents, Arthur J. Ory Sr. and Mary Ann Brown Ory; maternal grandparents, Louis Clement Dupuy and Kate Dixon Dupuy; mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Patricia Krol; and two nephews, Michael and Aaron Gondolphi. Pallbearers will be Joshua and Jacob Ory, David Chaney, Dean and Steven Riley and Keith Guidroz, Herb Boudreaux and Jimmy Krol. He attended St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church and belonged to the Charismatic Praise and Worship group. He was a magna cum laude graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, where he was a member of Gamma Beta Phi fraternity. He was a passionate musician.
