Oh my dear papa, I can not believe this is true. I tell mom everyday, "I want my papa back." I still do not believe you are not here with us. The brisket you made for us the night before your surgery was so good. I would never have imagined it would have been our last meal together. There is so much more I would have told you. You even got up the morning of your surgery and made mom coffee knowing you could not have any. You were so worried about "bubba" and I assured you over and over again I would take great care of him. I thank God I was able to hug you and tell you I loved you the morning you left the house for the surgery and again before you went in to surgery. You know how much I love you and respect you. I promise I will be here to take care of mom. I know you loved her dearly and she misses you so much. I can not wait for the day when I will see you again. I love and miss you so much papa.

Ms. Sandra and Family,
I was looking to see if a friend of ours (that had passed this week) had their obituary posted and wow, I was surprised and very saddened to see Don's obituary. I am especially sad for you all. It has been something like 25 and more years since i've seen Don. I can still hear him in his southern drawl calling me, "C.T." He used to call me that when we all worked together when Vince and Don were CPA partners. I often think of the Morella and Deason crew, but I never expected to hear about anyone especially Don's sudden and very early passing. I pray comfort to you and your families. He will be missed as I miss them all. Time goes by too quickly. Take care of yourselves and God bless.

While attending LSU I had a part time job as an errand girl just off of Monterrey. One of those errands was taking documents to Mr. Don and Mrs. Sandra to get notarized. That was 10+ years ago now, but I always remembered how nice both of you were. And I still think of you both when I pass your office.
Mrs. Sandra, I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Mrs. Sandra, Pam, and all family,
I'm so very sorry to hear of this news. Mr. Don hired me at 16 years old...I still remember our interview and the dress I had on! I also remember calling my family in excitement when I got the job! I ended up working for him for almost 4 years. He taught me so very much in many ways. What I learned from him and his guidance is the reason I pursued a degree in Accounting. I wouldn't be in this field today if it wasn't for him and the opportunity he gave me. His work ethic and attention to detail has rubbed off on me. I know he loved his family very much. I also remember how much he loved being outside and hunting. Please let me know if there's anything I can do for you. All of you will remain in my thoughts in prayers.

Don was such a nice person. He was our CPA for years. Always there to answer questions. He would always take the time to have a pleasant conversation about issues that had nothing to do with business. We will miss him. To his family, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
