I was sad to hear of Lewis' untimely death. We were great friends when we were really young, and I have fond memories of our climbing the mulberry tree by his house. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him, and may his family find comfort that so many share in their loss.

Kathy, Martha & Kelly...I am shocked to hear of Lewis' death. Mary Jo called to let me know. I had just received a Christmas card from Kathy, saying that Lewis would be in Baton Rouge celebrating Chiristmas with his grandchildren. Our fathers were brothers and my dad died of a heart attack on Christmas Eve. Lewis was born on Christmas Eve and died the day after Christmas. I'm sorry that I won't be able to be with you, but you are in my thoughts and prayers.

We haven't been close for a long time but when we were in our teen's, we did more on that Cushman scooter than the Law would allow. I will miss him but will always carry his memories with me because of all the fun that we had. My prayers are with all of his children and grandkids which he loved.
