I was sad to hear of Lewis' untimely death. We were great friends when we were really young, and I have fond memories of our climbing the mulberry tree by his house. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him, and may his family find comfort that so many share in their loss.

Kathy, Martha & Kelly...I am shocked to hear of Lewis' death. Mary Jo called to let me know. I had just received a Christmas card from Kathy, saying that Lewis would be in Baton Rouge celebrating Chiristmas with his grandchildren. Our fathers were brothers and my dad died of a heart attack on Christmas Eve. Lewis was born on Christmas Eve and died the day after Christmas. I'm sorry that I won't be able to be with you, but you are in my thoughts and prayers.
