Therese was a colorful person. She was the “Queen” as she referred to herself. She was a caring person who would do anything for anybody but if you disagreed with her, she would certainly tell you otherwise. She loved being with her family and friends. She loved cheering for the LSU Tigers even though she may cheer for the wrong team by accident or if they showed previews of another game she may cheer for any Team that looked like the Tigers.
She loved her god, she loved her family, she loved her friends and everyone that knew her will always remember her. She will be dearly missed but her spirit will live on in everyone.

Warren, Karen, Dan, Glen, and Robert. I was deeply saddened when mama told me of your mama's passing. It has been probably 30+ years since I have seen any of you. My prayers and deepest heartfelt sympathies go out to all of you in this very difficult time in your lives. May God bless all of you.

I am very sorry for your loss... I had met her only once, and even then I could see how much life shown through her. The light of the world is missing one of its favorite sources this day. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

Mrs. Therese Aymond is, and will forever be, indelible on my memory. I will never forget her personality...her singing, her humor, her laughing, her fussing, and her warmth. Her patience, too, not only with me but with other urchins like myself that converged through the years at the Aymond household with the Aymond kids. We all kept her kitchen and sanity on the run (Mr Eugene's sanity too, to be sure). She was larger than life, and she was one of the very few people in my life that I can say I was privileged to know. I always felt welcome with her, even when she ran me off with "Go Home! Don't you have another house to go to??"

Mrs Therese, you are in another house now. I know you were welcomed with a grin, and you will welcome others with a grin and your trademarked exuberance. There is not and will never be another like you. It is with love and thankfulness that I will never forget you; Goodbye, Mrs. Therese.
