She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Efferson and husband, Lorin, Loranger; grandson, Edward Whalen and wife, Ashley; sister, Brenda Gibson, Tickfaw; 2 brothers, John Gibson, Loranger and Pat Gibson, Terrytown; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by grandson, Brian Whalen; parents, John and Viola Gibson; sister-in-law, Gayle Gibson; uncle and aunt, J.O. and Eunice Ratliff; nephew, Kenny Ratliff. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Services conducted by Rev.
