Being held by her daughter, Addie "Full" Franklin Turner peacefully received her wings on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 8:50 pm at her residence. She was 86 years of age, a native of Slaughter and resident of Baker, La. She is survived by 5 daughters, Dr. Joyce Turner Keller, Edith Turner Williams, Virginia Turner Martin, Lois Turner McElroy, all of Baton Rouge and Carolyn Turner of Baker, La.; 3 sisters, Mamie Franklin, Gloria Burrell and Della Matthews (Willie), all of Zachary, LA. 9 Grandchildren, Bryant Keller (Andrea), Calandra Robinson (O'Neil), Montrell Turner (Shawanna), Trenton McElroy, Lakeo Keller, Shashanneon Darensbourg (Mark), Shawn Turner, Jasiri Basel and Yeal Flowers (Michael), 24 Great-grand children, a Godson Roderick Franklin, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 8th from 6pm - 8pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 9th from 9 am until religious services at 11am at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Highway 412 East, Slaughter, LA. Internment will be at The Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Richardson Funeral Home in Charge of the arrangements.

I wish i had the words to comfort you people often say i know how you feel well i don't because my mother is still here,people say i'm sorry for your loss i don't say that because you know where she is she is not loss she is in Heaven by her belief family you know she loved GOD with all of her heart and she loved each one of you more than life. Even though i'm not able to be there my thoughts and prayer go out to you today.
