Myrtle Pinsonat Obituary

Myrtle Miles Pinsonat passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2018 at the age of 97. She was a native of Livonia, Louisiana and was born on January 12, 1921. She was preceded in death by her father Willie Harris Miles and mother Elizabeth Martinez Miles; sisters, Louise Miles Smith, Ethel Miles Thomas; brothers, Willie H. Miles Jr., Lester Miles and James (Jimmie) Miles. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved cooking for her family and making beautiful quilts for friends and family. She leaves many cherish memories of love for her family. Ms. Myrtle was a member of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. She is survived by her son Bernie Pinsonat (Stephanie) and daughter, Linda Pinsonat Prudhomme (Neal); grandchildren, Michelle Pinsonat, Kevin Pinsonat, Christopher Prudhomme and Todd Prudhomme; great grandchildren, Christopher B. Prudhomme, Peyton Prudhomme, Cameron Prudhomme, Hailey Prudhomme, Caroline Pinsonat and Lauren Pinsonat; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private visitation will be held for family at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, on Wednesday, November 28 from 10:30 am until funeral service time at 12:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
