Allen David Chauffe, Sr., age 73, native of Parks, LA and a resident of Donaldsonville, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Allen was born August 11, 1948. Allen is survived by his daughter, Amanda Chauffe Berot of Gonzales; sister, Joyce C. LeBlanc of Lafayette; brothers, Ronald Chauffe, Sr. and wife Jeanette and Kenneth Chauffe and wife Jolaine both of Breaux Bridge; grandchildren, Bobby Berot of Gonzales, Kalyn Vickry and husband Ryan of Prairieville, Hailey Stein and husband Jacques of Gonzales and Tiffany Chauffe and fiancé Brody Marionneaux of Prairieville; great grandchild, Harper Chauffe. Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Sanchez Chauffe; son, Allen "P-nut" Chauffe, Jr.; parents, Theodore Chauffe and Doris Potier; father and mother-in-law, Ervin, and Rita Sanchez; brothers, Curtis Chauffe and Herman Chauffe. Pallbearers will be Manuel Oubre, Jr., Rumsey Albarado, Jacques Stein, Brody Marionneaux, Nicolas Ourso, Ronald Chauffe, Jr., Ryan Vickry and Donald Sanchez. Honorary Pallbearers, Ronald Chauffe, Sr., Kenneth Chauffe and Tony Sanchez. Allen enjoyed camping, fishing, casino hopping and his beer. Allen was always willing to lend a helping hand and could fix just about anything. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Ourso Funeral Home Donaldsonville from 10:30am - 12:45pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Ascension Catholic Church on January 15, 2022 at 1pm. Burial will follow in Ascension Catholic Mausoleum. The family requests that masks be worn by those in attendance. Ourso Funeral Home Donaldsonville is in charge of arrangements.
