After leading the company successfully for 15 years, she married Ernest J. Kelly and moved out of Louisiana. Her following 25 year career encompassed establishment of a manufacturing rep agency, working for a major international manufacturing company as southern sales manager for the USA, and launching ownership in several retail tax service locations in North Carolina. During her storied career she received many accolades, awards, and recognition in the respective industries in which she worked. Upon retirement, she and her husband moved back to the Baton Rouge area of Louisiana to take care and handle family matters. She fought bravely for several years before succumbing to cancer. She is now at peace and her spirit is with those who welcome her back home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10am at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
