A homemaker, loving wife and mother of two, Angie departed her life on Sunday, July 18, 2010. Angie was 31, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Baker. She attended Broadmoor High School. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Shannon Knox; two daughters, Shaliyah and N'asha Knox; mother, Lucinda Young; two brothers, Corey Jackson and Brandon Johnson; grandfather, Charles Johnson Sr.; mother-in-law, Marion Knox; and great-grandmother, Mylon Knox. Visiting will be at Living Faith Christian Center on Friday, July 23, from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens.

Shannon my heart goes out to you and your family words can't express the way that you feel just remember hold on i can't tell you everyday will be sunday just trust in god and everything will be okay i did not know your wife but i do know that you guys loved each other i remember nights when i would leave work i would see her out in the parking lot waiting on you to get off from work shannon when the phone calls stop coming and people are not there anymore just keep your trust in god just remember if you need someone to talk to you have a friend and coworker there for you trust me i've been were you are and it's not easy. just stay close to family and friends and most of all god who if the head of our life.
