Bartley "Thomas" Woolam passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at his home in Plaquemine at the age of 84. He was a native and lifelong resident of Plaquemine. Thomas was a retired superintendent from Air Liquide. He was a Navy Veteran, who then joined the Army National Guard. Visitation will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Friday, January 14th, from 9 a.m. until Rite of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Bob McDonner. Burial will follow in Grace Memorial Park. Thomas is survived by his two daughters, Jean Woolam Seneca and partner James, Dawn Marie Woolam; three grandchildren, Dalton Seneca and wife Alyssa, Megan Seneca and Ryan Lang; great-grandchildren, Jackson Seneca. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his eyes, heart and soul, they brought him great joy. He is also survived by his siblings, Floyd Woolam and wife Kathy, Mary Joffrion and husband Curtis; two sisters-in-law, Florence Gary and Denise Woolam; brother-in-law, Michael Gary. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Jeannette Gary Woolam; great-grandchild, Harper Beth; parents, Bartley Sr and Pauline Albarado Woolam; brother, Jerry Woolam. Pallbearers will be Dalton Seneca, Ryan Lang, James Dunahoe, John Hudnall, Jack Pretzer and Nicholas Seneca. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Correll, Brandon Seneca and Joseph Saizon.
