Bunnie A. Kelly
Ms. Bunnie A. Kelly, R.N., of Austin, Texas, passed away February 4 after a long battle with cancer. She was 78 years old. Before moving to Austin, Ms. Kelley was a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, La., where she lived for many years with her beloved husband, Don, who passed away in 2014.A native of Dover, N.J., Ms. Kelly was a graduate of the venerable St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing in New York City. Over a nursing career that spanned several decades, she practiced with compassion and care in both hospital and private practice settings. As a nurse, she was known as a strong advocate for patients with a special love of caring for children. Of her many interests she enjoyed camping with her husband and was an avid lover of music. Ms. Kelly was completely devoted to her family. She is survived by three brothers, Walter, Roger and John Bloomfield, and two sons, Robert and Steven Kelly. She had six grandchildren, three from Robert and three from Steven. Arrangements are private.
