Mrs. Fannie was my neighbor in Kentwood for many years. She and Mr. Fred were wonderful to me and my children. Great neighbors!!! My prayers go out to Mr. Fred.

I remember the first time my husband took me to Mississippi to meet his family. I met Aunt Fannie and Uncle Fred and loved them immediately. Aunt Fannie reminded me of my dad's sister who was always so sweet and loving. We have stayed at their house a few times and my son still remembers what a good cook Aunt Fannie was. He says he gained 10 lbs on our visit with them. From one end of the counter to the other was freshly made food, fried fish, hush puppies and much more. A boys dream! We visited another time and brought along a good friend of ours. He was made to feel like he was part of the family.
Aunt Fannie and I shared the love of hummingbirds. I was always amazed how many she had on her feeders.
Rest in peace sweet lady. You will be truly missed.
