Galen Ourso 'Hog', passed away peacefully at Landmark on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the age of 62. He was a resident and native of Plaquemine, LA. Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 10am until Rite of Christian Burial at 12pm, conducted by Deacon Bob McDonner. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. Galen is survived by his sisters, Neldres Voisin and husband George, Cookie Marionneaux and husband Chris, and Kim Cordova and husband Roy; brothers, John "Doonie" Ourso and wife Brenda, and Stoney Ourso; numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by special friends, Detta McJunkins, Cara Friloux and Cade, and Chelsea Daigle. Preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Mary Frances Ourso; brothers, David, Freddie and Rodney Ourso; and nephews, Kyle Ourso and David Ourso, Jr. Galen was a very selfless person who had a friendly and jovial personality.
