Geraldine Matthews was born November 19, 1949 in Clinton, La to the late James Matthews, Sr. and the late Lillian Dixon Matthews. Geraldine was employed by the United States Postal Service in Chicago, Illinois where she retired. She departed her earthly home on Monday, November 22, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memories two sisters Viola M. Spears and Cora M. Bradford, two brothers James Matthews and McKinley Matthews, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held Thursday from 6:30 pm to 8p.m.at Richardson Funeral Home 11816 Jackson Street Clinton, LA 70722. Services will be held Friday 10am at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church 11920 Parker St. Clinton, Louisiana 70722.
