James M. Creel, 63 years old of Denham Springs, Louisiana, passed away, Saturday, May 18, 2013, at his residence. He was born on Tuesday, October 11, 1949, in Hammond, La., son of the late Bobby Creel and Doris Creel. Surviving are daughter, Melissa Creel Gossett, son, John Robert Creel, mother, Doris Creel, sisters, Barbara Kiff and Marylin Creel, grandchildren, Brant Gossett, Reed Gossett, Gabe Creel, Zachary Harmon, Christopher Creel and Phillip Flynn, numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Creel and brothers, William "Bill" Creel and Robert Earl Creel. Friends will be received Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son, Hammond. Visitation will resume on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. with services beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Harry McKneely & Son, Hammond, with Bro. James Fendlason officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Amite, La. An online guest book is available at www.harrymckneely.com.

James was a great coworker and friend. He was a very sweet man. He will surely be missed by many. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. May god bless and keep you in his comfort.
