Joanne Junius Butler Felton departed this life on November 24, 2021 at Our Lady of Lake, Baton Rouge, La. She was 75 years young, and was born to the late Ernest, and Ether Auguar Junius. Joanne was a loving and selfless, mother, and grandmother. She was joined in matrimony to Carl A. Butler on March 25, 1967, and from this union, two children were born, Charlean Damara and Carla Demetrius. Joanne is survived by her daughters, Charlean Butler Milton, Carla Butler Jones Mazique; grandchildren, Troy Tytrell Milton Cage, Tasha Carlissa Jones, Alyssa Troy Milton, and Cameron Anthony Mazique; great-grandchildren, Taylor Cage, and Bailee Cage; sisters, Marguerite J.. Jones, Dr. Elouise J. Spencer and Carla Brown; brothers, Ernest Wardell Junius, Ivory Nolan Junius, George Kenneth Junius, Bruce Junius and Terry Elzy, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation will take place Saturday, December 4, 2021, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Saint John Baptist Church, 31925 Lacroix Rd., Dorseyville, La. 70788. The Celebration of Life Services will be immediately following visitation. It will be livestream. Interment at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, 60455 Bayou Jacob Road, Plaquemine, La. 70764.
