Jordan Blake Guthrie "Lil Paz" was called home September 29, 2021 at the age of 28. To know him was to love him, with his caring heart and infectious smile. Jordan enjoyed hunting, fishing, football and was passionate about writing and recording his own music. However his heart and soul were his babies, Abbi, Addyson, Lane and Lena. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Melane (Ray) Granger and William Jr. (Jennell) Guthrie; maternal grandmother, Willie Mae (Roy) Bass; his beautiful children, Abbi Rayne, Addyson Nicole, Lane Paul, and Lena Grace; siblings Jacob Procell, Haley (Christian) Melancon, Krystle, Cassandra and Travis Granger, Tristin, Ethan and Kyra Guthrie. Jordan was born and raised in Sorrento and was a 2011 graduate of St. Amant High School. Jordan found his niche in life as a marine mechanic with Weber Marine. Jordan was loved dearly and will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to know him. Jordan was preceded in death by his sister, Allison Guthrie; paternal grandparents, William Sr. and Pamela Guthrie; and maternal grandfather, Albert "Boogie" Procell. Honorary pallbearer will be his older brother and closest friend Jacob Procell. Pallbearers are Jay Procell, Michael Pape, Brandon Falcon, Craig Bergeron, Billy Wilson and Mark Day. Goodbye is not forever, goodbye is not the end; it simply means we will miss you until we meet again. Till then…gone to make sweet music in Heaven. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy., Gonzales, LA, on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 5pm-8pm.
