Though we did not know Joyce personally, we know that one of her finest gifts from her time on earth was the raising of her son Mark. Mark is a wonderful pastor, teacher and friend. We are forever grateful to Joyce for her legacy. May God bless the entire Crosby family.

I miss my Ollie Steele Burden friend. I enjoyed reading and discussing current events and books with her. She talked about her family often and loved them so much. I will always treasure our six-year special friendship. May God bless the Crosby family. I'll miss you, Mrs. Joyce, each time I visit Ollie Steele. Laura Tate

Very sad to learn of the passing of our greatest ever next door neighbor of many years. The friendship grew deeper when Joyce moved to Denham Springs, and later to Ollie Steel Burden Manor. We will miss you. Mike & Donna Welch, Baton Rouge.
