Kendra Lynn Wilkes Hein, born February 28, 1975, went to Jesus November 25, 2021 after a valiant battle with kidney cancer from a very rare Birt-Hogg-Dube Syndrome. Beloved daughter of Timothy and Linda Wilkes of Baton Rouge and is survived by sister Laura Lampin of Baton Rouge and brother Brian Wilkes (Doreen) of Cottonwood, CA. Kendra married the love of her life Les Hein of Lutz, FL this past August. She was a chemist for Tampa Bay Water Co. and played violin with the Idlewild Baptist Church, Dade City Symphony, NorthShore Symphony and various quartet's while in Florida. She was a 1993 graduate from Baton Rouge High and while there sang with the B.R.H.S. choir at Carnegie Hall and St. Patrick's cathedral conducted by Robbie Giror. She graduated from Mobile College in 1997 with a degree in Chemistry and played violin with the Mobile Symphony. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services at Resthaven Garden of Memories, January 14, at 11:00 am.
