Lorraine "Lo Lo" Cox, 47, a native of Maringouin, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, departed this earthly world on November 16, 2021 at Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge, LA. Former employee with Family Care Personal Attendants, LLC and Target Retail Store, she was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend as well as a true "die-hard" Dallas Cowboys' Fan. Visitation on Friday, November 26, 2021 from 2 pm - 6 pm at A. Wesley Funeral Home, 10810 Ventress Drive, Maringouin, LA. Visitation resumes on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at New Light Baptist Church, 76765 Cedar Street, Grosse Tete, Louisiana, from 9 am - until Religious Services at 11 am, conducted by Rev. Clyde E. McNell, Sr., Pastor. Survived by her mother Dean Cox, father George "Johnell" (Carla) Hawkins, four sons Anthony (Ebony) Cox Sr., Orlando Cox Sr., Byron Lockhart, Jr. and Keldrick Bosley, four grandchildren Anthony Jr., Londyn, Ava and Orlando Cox, Jr. Preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Leona "Boo Boo" Scott, three sisters, Patricia Cox Williams, Responzia Marie Cox, and Treva Carter, maternal aunt Angie Scott and a nephew, Deldrian "Del" Cox. As a well deserved Tribute to Lorraine, she will be honored & escorted in a horse carriage to her final resting place in her Dallas Cowboys casket at Sweet Home B.C. cemetery, 10300 Church Street, Maringouin, LA. Professional services entrusted to A. Wesley Funeral Home of Maringouin, La.
