Lula Mary White-Favron, affectionately known as "Lula Mae", was born November 8,1936 in Hohen Solms. Lula was 84 years old, a native of White Castle, LA and resident of Baton Rouge. Lula was the first child of fourteen children born to the late Anderson White Sr. and Alberta Dumas White. Lula passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, September 26, 2021. She leaves behind to cherish her memories four daughters JoAnn North, Brenda (Wayne) Myles, and Janet and Lesia Favron, one step-daughter Joyce Ann (Alvin) Henry, one daughter-in-law Avis C. Favron. Nine siblings Anthony (Margaret) White, Rogers (Hazel) White, Diane (Frank) Carraway, Katie (Otis) Garrison, Nathaniel (Diane) White, Joseph Wilfred (Darlene) White, Joyce (Larry) Williams, Debra (David) Glen, and Wilbert (Brenda) White and sister-in-law Alma White. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Lula was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward Favron, son Calvin Joseph Favron Sr., sister Hester and brother-in-law Haney Carraway and sister Dorothy Gail White, brothers Anderson White Jr. and Clarence White. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 5 pm - 7 pm, at Demby & Son Funeral Home, 900 Magnolia St. Donaldsonville. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11 am at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 32615 Bowie St. White Castle. Entombment in the church mausoleum.
