Margaret Hedges Landry passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Landmark Nursing Home, at the age of 84. She was a native and lifelong resident of Bayou Pigeon. Margaret retired from the Iberville Parish School System in Food Service after 20 years at Crescent Elementary School. Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Monday, September 13th, 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 11 a.m., celebrated by Rev. Tim Grimes. Burial will follow in Grace Memorial Park. Margaret is survived by her four children, Dean Landry and wife Kate, Wayne Landry and wife Gwen, Clark Landry and Shelia Landry; seven grandchildren, Derek and Dillion Landry, Nicole and Gavin Landry, Jeffrey and Jasmine Moxley and Noah Landry; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Landry and Ava Lee Vaughn; one brother, Eugene Hedges. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. Landry; parents, Sidney Sr. and Ezora Sauce Hedges; sister, Anna Lou Vaughn; two brothers, Henry and Sidney Jr. Hedges. Pallbearers will be Michael Altazan, Jeffrey Moxley, Noah and Gavin Landry, James Buquoi and Ryan Null. Please share memories at www.wilbertservices.com.
