Monday, September 27, 2021 in New Orleans, Mark London passed away peacefully at the age of 42, surrounded by his family. He was the youngest of 3 sons of Melvin London, Sr. & Vanessa Young London. Mark, a passionate Brick Mason, took great pride in his work. His expertise & abilities were gifts he inherited from his father Melvin Sr. & grandfather the late George Young, who were excellent craftsmen. Unbeknownst to Mark or his family, he was not in the best health. He contracted Covid-19, which exposed & exploited an underling heart condition. Mark's inner strength, love for his life, family, & daughters fueled his fight to survive these last months. He was a loving dad to 4 beautiful daughters & die-hard Saints (Who Dat Nation) fan, bleeding Black & Gold. Mark is now with love ones, where all Saints have everlasting rest. To cherish his memory, he leaves daughters Tanya, Jasmine, Vanessa, & Jewelle, his parents, his grandmother Maxine Sterling Young, his brothers Melvin Jr. & Monzell, and a host of family & friends. Preceded in death by grandparents Rev. George Young, Edwin Brown, & Mary Lee Joseph; aunt Cheryl Mallory; uncle Leroy Berry Sr.; & best friend Kristopher Hairston, who passed merely hours before Mark. You are invited to Celebrate his Life at 12:30 pm on Saturday, October 9th, Richardson Funeral Home, 11112 Jefferson Hwy, River Ridge. Visitation will begin at 11:30. Interment, Providence Memorial Park, Metairie. Arrangements entrusted to Richardson Funeral Home of Jefferson.
