Nancy Ann Impastato Deese Seemann passed away in the company of family and friends on November 4, 2021, age 74. She was a resident of Prairieville, LA at the time of her death but had been a resident of the New Orleans metro area most of her life. Ever the life-long learner, Nancy graduated from Riverdale High and Loyola University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Magna Cum Laude. While Nancy thrived in her professional life, it was clear to all who knew her that the title she relished the most was being "TiMere" to her grandchildren, whom she supported in their various creative and athletic endeavors. Nancy was a fixture on the sidelines of the Baton Rouge soccer scene, whether it was school or club play. She also could be seen on deck at swim meets as a "Swim Grandma". No one seeing Nancy would ever mistake for whom she was cheering! Her home was decorated with pictures by and of her many grandchildren, a testament to her love of family. Nancy was born in New Orleans to the late Dominick Impastato, Sr. and Marvel Kalb Impastato Brown. She is survived by her husband Charles F. Seemann, Jr., her daughter Brigette Moggio Esrud (Vidar), and stepchildren Charles F. Seemann III (Amy) and Jennifer Seemann Wellborn. Loving grandmother of Peyton, Cameryn, Courtney, and Ian Moggio; Amelie, Patricia, and Charles F. Seemann IV; and Catherine Wellborn. Sister of Dominick Impastato, Jr. (Karen) and aunt of Dominick III (Shannon), Anthony (Amanda), and Vincent Impastato. Nancy also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who will dearly miss her. On November 22, 2021, there will be visitation at 11:30 AM followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM at Rabenhorst Funeral Home (825 Government St., Baton Rouge). A joyous celebration of Nancy's life will be held later in the spring in New Orleans on a date to be determined. If you choose to make a donation in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Brain Trauma Foundation (braintrauma.org
) in recognition of what took Nancy too soon from us all. To view and sign the online guestbook, please visit www.rabenhorst.com
