A retired Ascension Parish School Bus Driver. A native of Donaldsonville, La, resident of Abend. She died at 4:10 pm on Tuesday, October 5 at her home. She was 87 years old. Visiting 4 – 6 pm, Friday, October 15 at Demby & Son Funeral Home. Visiting continues 9 am, Saturday, October 16 at Mount Bethel Baptist Church until religious services at 11 am, conducted by Rev. Louis Scioneaux. Interment in the church cemetery. She is survived by her children: daughters; Katherine Williby, Della Matthews, Dennise Dwight, Jessie Billy and Carolyn Sutherland, sons; Charles Williams and Curtis Cooper, Jr., numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Curtis Cooper, Sr. a son Kenneth Billy, mother Onita Mickens, grandson Ronreco Carter and two granddaughters Ashley and Matricia Sheppard.
