I met Bob a couple of years ago in the Chair Yoga class at the YMCA. So witty and friendly. One time he visited the Line Dance class and made us laugh as he joined in. I will miss seeing and conversing with him. My condolences to Rene and his family.

Bob and I were on Governor Edwin Edwards staff in the early 1990's and have remained friends ever since. Bob was a friend and mentor to anyone who needed him. I saw him act compassionately and counsel many free of charge. Bob worked tirelessly throughout his career with the State to help the disadvantaged. Bob was a man of integrity and truly lived his life to help others. RIP Bob and I want to thank you on behalf of the countless people you worked to help throughout your life and career.
