Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. We know she is rejoicing in her reunion with the love of her life, George "Bub" Morgan. Rosalie Bonano Morgan "Zeke" was born on February 24, 1931 and passed away on September 15, 2021, surrounded by her family who loved and cherished her. She was married to her husband for 54 years until his passing on April 2, 2008. They raised four children, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly. Her family was what made her world complete and she made sure everyone knew how special and loved they were in her heart. She loved to cook and shared her knowledge with all of her children and grandchildren. You knew you were home when you walked through her door and the first questions asked were "Did you eat? What can I fix you?" You never left her house hungry. She was a Godly loving woman that was active in her faith and loved attending services every week with her Partner in Crime, Marie Bonano Richard (her sister and best friend). She is survived by her children, Doug Morgan (Camille), Janet Crafton (Doug), Renee Haydel (Timothy); son-in-law, James Stanford, Sr.; grandchildren, Kaycie Morgan Lagrone (Jacob), Marya Gascon, Kristin Gascon Rosendale (Richard), Jamie Stanford Marino (Johnny), James "Jimmy" Stanford, Jr. (Kim), Amy Stanford (Ben), Justin Haydel (Jennifer) and Christine Haydel Dunaway (Eric White); great-grandchildren, Hannah, Abram and Luke Lagrone, Morgan and Kail Larsen, Matthew Rosendale, Breanna and Sophia Stanford, Laken Haydel, and Brody White; and great-great-grandchild, Weston Gregoire. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Morgan; daughter, Rhonda Morgan Stanford; grandchild, Hailey Morgan Barr (Matthew); her parents, six brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 12:00PM until the time of funeral services at 2:00PM. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Placing Granny in her final resting place are Doug Morgan, Timmy Haydel, Kenneth Richard, Dane Morgan, Justin Haydel and Matthew Rosendale. Honorary Pallbearers are Lil Jimmy Stanford and Richard Rosendale.
