MARINO, ROSE MARY BROUSSARD A native of Lacassine and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. She was 85. Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Agnes Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Monday, celebrated by Monsignor Robert H. Berggreen. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. A loving mother, sister and grandmother, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Frances Fontenot of Zachary and Shirley and James Tetterington of Pride; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Betty Marino of Baton Rouge; brother, Steven Broussard of Lake Arthur; 11 grandchildren, Bridgit Schexnayder, Bobbie Caldwell, April Allen, Terry Miley, Elizabeth Aymond, Steve Marino, Rhonda Boatner, Mike and Kenny Tullier, Julie Carmichael and Candice Tetterington; 19 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Marino; son, Jerry Marino; parents, Alexandre and Elodie Broussard; two sisters, Blanche Chopin and Evelyn Broussard; three brothers, Whitney, Cline and Alton Broussard; and son-in-law, Kelly Fontenot. Pallbearers will be Mike and Kenny Tullier, Steve Marino, Adam Pierson, Patrick Lott and Drew Boatner. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff who cared for her at Lane Memorial Hospital, the nurses, aides and residents at Lane Nursing Home for their care, love and prayers and a special thanks to Lucy Dedon, her roommate at Lane Nursing Home, for her friendship, help and concern during Mrs. Marino's stay.
