Shae Whitney McCulloch, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, died on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the age of 31. Preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Joseph Pitre, and paternal grandmother Maxine McCulloch. She was known as Whitney by her family and Shae by her friends. Whitney modeled as a child and was very involved in the church's youth group. She graduated from Baton Rouge High School and attended Denham Springs Beauty College. She worked in the Hospitality industry and was known for her voice. She would sing all the time and was great at it. She never met a camera that didn't love her or that she didn't love. She was known as "Nit Whit" by her dad. Whitney also was known for her "Messy Bun" hairdo. She was always very mischievous, yet always smiling. And as a mother she loved bringing her children outdoors and going to the park. She never met a stranger and friends were numerous. She loved her family unconditionally and they will always love and miss her dearly. Survived by her children Jacksyn, Douglas and Cullynn, her parents, Joe and Pam McCulloch of Baton Rouge, Sister and brother-in-law, Chuck, and Amber Broussard, of Madisonville, and their children Melia, Chloe and Vivian, her Sister Samantha McCulloch of Baton Rouge, and her children Layten and Taytem. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, La. on Saturday October 16, 2021. Visitation will be from 10 am to 12pm. Celebration of life will start at 12pm with reception to follow.
